I myself am a JT Barrett fan, that being said I do see positives to Cardale playing. But with that being said I do not understand what Urban expects out of his quarterbacks in practice. When you think of what is expected out of a QB, the most important quality one can have is being a leader. JT was elected a team captain which shows that others view him as a leader, also we all heard about the stories how he was still giving pre game speeches when hurt. And to say his level of play is not on the level of Cardale's is heinous. JT set multiple records last year and also finished fifth in heisman voting. With all that being said I am really curious to know what Urban is looking for on and off the field that Cardale is doing that JT is not.
How does JT beat out Cardale for the starting job?
