So down here in God's country we have a very interesting case involving Clemson football. A man defaced their famed Howard's Rock, which the players touch for good luck before each home game. Fans take their picture year-round and it is clearly an important piece of their history and tradition.
Currently they are trying to determine the value of the rock as it affects the punishment the perp is going to face. If it's below $2,000, then lower penalties. If it's above $2,000, or the big one, above $10,000, then more severe penalties. Here's a link to the article: http://www.greenvilleonline.com/story/news/local/pickens-county/2015/07/...
My question to you is: Does Ohio State have any items (or trees like Buckeye Grove) like this and what would you speculate their value would be?
