This series will highlight the commitment anniversary date of Ohio State players. I have commitment dates from 2003-2015.
Note: I don't have all of the commitment dates for all of the players from those years, but I have the majority.
Pat Elflein had a .842 comp. rating and was the 56th ranked OG in the 2012 class. Elflein had the lowest comp. rating in Ohio State's 2012 class.
ON JULY 14, 2011 PAT ELFLEIN (OG) COMMITTED TO OHIO STATE

Luke Fickell has added verbal commitment No. 11 to the Buckeyes’ 2012 recruiting
class. Pickerington North senior OL Pat Elflein
visited Ohio State Thursday and committed to the Buckeyes.The 6-foot-3 and 285-pound Elflein selected Ohio State over scholarship
offers from Northwestern, Purdue, Indiana, Cincinnati, South Florida,
Toledo, Bowling Green, Miami of Ohio and Akron.Elflein was offered a scholarship by the Buckeyes on Wednesday
and told Bucknuts.com he would visit Ohio State today and would commit
on the visit.[...]
Elflein said the decision to be a Buckeye was an easy one.
“The tradition, the people, I always wanted to play for Ohio State,” he said. “It’s my dream come true.”
