The Arizona Cardinals select Marvin Harrison Jr. with the No. 4 overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft.
So far Urban and Harbaugh are saying all the politically correct things. Urban welcomed Harbaugh to the conference, Harbaugh said he to wanted TOSU to win the NC.
Behind the platitudes, though, are two ferociously competitive people.
Harbaugh guaranteed a win in 1986 when Urban was a graduate assistant.
Urban helped return the favor in 1987, winning in Ann Arbor before Earle Bruce's exit.
On Harbaugh's side, he's made a point of taking down the reigning champion at any level.
IMO It's going to be angry grudge-match coach (Urban) vs. I-need-to-beat-the-champ-to-be-legitimate.
I'm personally rooting for an OSU, obviously, but I think people underestimate how motivated our team will be.
Thoughts?
