With an article about tight ends on the front page, it got me thinking about the one that never was...Louis Irazzary. He was supposed to be the next Kellen Winslow and in fact had committed to Miami. But after the 2002 NCG, he switched to Ohio State and we waited for the day to see what this kid could do on the field. That day never came as a series of unprovoked violent assaults against other students ended his career before it began and instead of being on the football field, Irazarry was sent off to prison to pay for his crimes. Is this the same Louis Irazarry that played for us? If it is, WOW what a transformation and recovery. If it is, talk about the human spirit lifting someone up.
