Dantonio

Dantonio and the Spartans had a big week.

FIVE FOR SPARTY
Michigan State had a huge week in recruiting for 2016. Dantonio and company picked up two offensive tackles, a cornerback, outside linebacker and safety. This weeks haul bumped Sparty up to second place in total points.

MOVING ON UP
Nebraska picked up two the three positions it lost last week. The Cornhuskers and Maryland were this week's biggest movers. Both schools moved up two positions. Nebraska went from 6th to 4th and Maryland from 8th to 6th.

Eat your ice cream

Ice cream should only be for winners. Last week the Gophers were losers.

BIGGEST LOSER
With the Nebraska and Maryland moving up two teams had to go down. This week's biggest losers are Minnesota and Purdue. Both schools  dropped two spots in the rankings.

SUBTRACTION BY ADDITION
Although Michigan State added five recruits this week its composite average dropped four hundredths of a point. Not bad drop for adding five players to the 2016 class, but it is still a loss.

THE LEAD SHRINKS...AGAIN
Penn State is within a whisker of tying Ohio State for the lead in composite average and Michigan State closed the gap in total rating points. However, Ohio State still has a sizable lead over the B1G in total rating points and when Penn State picks up more commitments I expect their comp. average to go down.

TWO RANKING LISTS
The first list is based on each school's average composite rating. Think quality over quantity. The second list is based on each school's total composite points.

Kareem Walker

Kareem Walker is still Ohio State's highest rated 2016 commit, but his rating went down .008 points. Why did his rating drop? That's the question of the day.
