As many of my fellow 11W members are well aware of, Ezekiel Elliott rushed for 246 yards on 36 carries versus Oregon in the first ever college football playoff national championship game.
We also know that Urban has said many times that we are an "offensive line" driven team and that was proven in the title game by two very key stats that were almost completely overlooked by most, including myself.
Did you know that out of EZE's total of 246 yards for the game, that 213 of those yards came by runs through the tackles up the gut? Also did you realize that 171 of those yards came before EZE was even TOUCHED by ANY Oregon players?
What those stats translate into is that the slobs were blowing the Ducks off the line of scrimmage all night long. THAT is what I call SLOB domination, and Ed Warriner is one **** of a coach.
