Ohio State has the best fans in college football (obviously), but what other schools  in your opinion also have top tier fan bases in terms of size, passion, intelligence, etc.

My list goes...

1. Ohio State (106,296)- No explanation needed

2. Penn State (101,623)- Yes they are annoying but you can't argue with their attendance and home-field advantage

3. Nebraska (91,241)- Sell-out streak with a relatively small population and they seem very knowledgable and not insane

4. Texas (94,103)- With all the other schools in the state, UT has a tremendous following and there is a reason they have their own network and are one of the most profitable programs

5. Alabama (101,534)- They are crazy and unlikeable and have plenty of bad characteristics, but there is so doubting how much football means to them
