When both teams have the same exact record, head to head should be the first tie breaker for a playoff spot before anything else is considered; like in all other sports. Can you imagine in the NFL if the Browns beat the Bengals twice, but had the same exact record and the Bengals got the playoff spot based on who they beat/played.
