Mike Hall Jr. is selected 54th overall in the second round of the NFL draft by the Cleveland Browns.
For all the excuses and reasons the B1G has flailed in the tournament, the simple reality is the conference is devoid of NBA talent. Dosunmu? Wagner? These guys are at best NBA role players. Dosunmu not better than say Courtney Lee. Who's Wagner better than? Cockburn? This dude will do nothing. And then you have the rest of the B1G Role Players.
The other conferences are also largely devoid of NBA talent, but a lot of those teams seem to have better athletes than the B1G at least this season. Not trying to make this about football, but it feels quite similar to those years when OSU was losing to run-oh-the-mill SEC squads.
For all the "reasons" given, lack of athletes/talent is the reason these teams are out. Rutgers, of all teams, had one of the more athletic rosters in the conference, but their coach hasn't a clue how to run an offense. Memories of Thad Matta.
Lots of "great teams" who "work hard" in the regular season, but when the money is on the line, these teams flailed because they were out-talented.
