This Week’s Question: If You Could Change Any Rule in College Football, What Would It Be?

If you were to become the new president of the NCAA or the commissioner of a potential new governing body for FBS football, and you had the unilateral authority to change any rule in college football, what rule would you change?

Your rule change can be anything from in-game rules (such as eliminating the targeting penalty, no longer stopping the clock after first downs or requiring two feet in bounds for a catch) to recruiting rules (such as eliminating dead periods or the 85-man scholarship limit) or eligibility rules (such as allowing players to be paid directly by schools, implementing a window for when players can transfer or placing restrictions on NIL).

What’s the biggest thing you think needs to change right now?
