Jalen Rose is seemingly everywhere these days and I'm always up for listening to him. Whether an interview on the Finals or commentary on just about anything, I find him truly enjoyable and a talented guy on the air. So that got me thinking about the Fab Five... Am I alone in looking back at all those guys and kind of being a fan of them? 

I definitely didn't root for them and can recall the devastation of Jimmy Jackson's team losing to them, but they were just so cool to a middle school version of me. I confess that I bought those short black socks to wear while playing basketball.

And now when I watch the 30 for 30 on them brings me back to a place of thinking just how cool they were and their game, and now being impressed with how well those young guys handled some crazy pressure and pretty nasty response even from their own school and alumni. 

Am I alone in my semi-fandom of those guys, both then and now?
