So my oldest daughter is starting preschool this year. She's very excited. My wife just informed me that her preschool orientation is Thursday night, from 5:30-8. This school is 20 minutes from my house. I think you see where this is going...

I had already made plans with the neighbors to smoke some wings and set the TV up on my back patio. Am I a terrible husband/father if I choose wings/beer/football (season opener!!!) over my family?

On a related note, why aren't people paying more attention to football schedules!?!
