We all dread going to the dentist, hoping and praying that nothing is going to be found. At least at the worst a cavity that can be filled. The dreaded root canal or extraction is the last thing we ever want to hear a dentist say. Now scientists may be on their way to a breakthrough. Which can be read about here http://www.telegraph.co.uk/science/2017/01/09/end-fillings-sight-scientists-find-alzheimers-drug-makes-teeth/ here https://www.thrillist.com/tech/nation/new-pill-cavity-filling-heals-teeth-without-dentist-drill and here https://www.theguardian.com/science/2017/jan/09/decline-of-the-dentists-drill-drug-helps-rotten-teeth-regenerate-trial-shows
I for one would be excited if this can soon become a thing. Not only will it save us money for other various things, but, it could actually help prevent losing our teeth altogether. Just imagine, no more novocaine, no more losing teeth, no more root canals, and the amount of money that could be saved by this could be in the thousands of dollars. Feel free to comment on what you think about this, and also because science is cool.
