Just got a speeding ticket in the mail from a camera in Weathersfield, OH. Just curious if anyone knows the specifics on if you need to pay these in Ohio? From what I read, they're legit if there is an officer present with the camera, is that true? The letter says there was an officer present. But, it also says it is not a moving violation, which confused me:
"This citation is not considered a moving violation.
PAYMENT OF THE PENALTY AMOUNT FOR THE VIOLATION WILL NOT RESULT IN POINTS AND CANNOT BE USED TO INCREASE YOUR INSURANCE RATES.
WARNING: FAILURE TO PAY THE PENALTY, OR FAILURE TO CONTEST LIABILITY AS INSTRUCTED IN THIS NOTICE IS AN ADMISSION OF LIABILITY."
Advice?
