Paul George has informed the Pacers that he will leave the franchise after next season. His wish is to go to the Lakers after the 2017-2018 season. The Pacers are trying to trade George to get some kind of value for him before he leaves and they get nothing. With George's intentions known, the Pacers likely won't get a lot for him. My question: Should the Cavs trade for him, even if it is for one year, if the terms (both what they would have to give up and fitting his salary into the current team cap structure) can be worked out? My thought is if they "rent" him for a year they would have the piece needed to take the title back from the Warriors and, if all fell the right way, maybe he would decide to stay and become a permanent part of the Cavs. Thoughts from everyone?
