In 2003 a fellow by the name of Curtis James Jackson III — better known as 50 Cent — released his debut album Get Rich or Die Tryin'. That was nearly 15 years ago, and here we are – still tryin'.

Now that the 2017 college football season is upon us, we've decided to employ a new strategy in an attempt to add to the old bankroll. The underlying premise of this new venture? We are going to do the opposite of what Clay Travis tells the world to do.

Not familiar with Mr. Travis? Congratulations! But the gist of it is Clay is filled with an unlimited supply of #takes that are nearly as scorching as whatever it was the Night King was using during the end of last Sunday's Game of Thrones season finale.

His #takes also include gambling picks which are released each week in the days leading up to the weekend's football festivities. These picks will be the fuel to Eleven Warriors efforts this season.

  • We have started out with $500 in a sports book account. Every week we will put down $10 on each one of the games that Clay picks. For example, this week he has picks in for 15 games with one of those being Rutgers +30.5 against Washington. In case you weren't aware, this means he is picking Rutgers to cover (not lose by more than 30.5 points). Thus, we will be picking Washington to cover.
  • The rationale behind our picks is simple: Do the opposite of what Clay does. No further analysis is needed.
  • We will keep a running total of how the account is looking each week and then of course preview the coming weekend.
  • Ohio State won't be included in this – at least not on our end.
