The winter of transformation continues in Happy Valley.

James Franklin already jettisoned his offensive coordinator John Donovan last month, and Tennessee poached his defensive coordinator Bob Shoop last week.

The exodus continues, as Auburn reached an agreement with PSU offensive line coach Herb Hand to take the same job. Usatoday.com first reported the news.

Hand's Nittany Lion offensive lines never struck fear into the hearts of opponents, but even worse things could be said about the line he inherited when he first arrived in Happy Valley.

It's unknown whether Franklin and Penn State refused to match the SEC offers, but it is known next year is a big year for Plain James Franklin.
