Tommy Tuberville Totally Down to Monetarily Fine His Players

Tommy Tuberville made $2,200,000 in 2014, according to USA Today. That's of course his right, since his contract was decided by the open market.

Tommy Tuberville's Cincinnati players, however, didn't make $2,200,000 in 2014. Though "cost of attendance" scholarships help, it's not as if they bargained for it.

I mention all of this only as proof as to why a #take like this is garbage:

This wouldn't be news if we were talking about the coach of a professional team, but we're not. Coaches across the nation have ringed their hands over the "professionalization" of their sport (except when it comes to their ballooning salaries)... so which way do these coaches want it?

It's getting harder to tell.
