Charlie Strong Out Here Breaking Freshmen of All Stripes

Another year, another exodus of Texas players out of Austin.

Maybe Horns247's Jeff Howe said it best in confirming a Horns Digest report thatTexas Longhorns redshirt freshman running back Duke Catalon will transfer -- it must be that kind of day.

It certainly is shaping up as that kind of day.

The Aldine Eisenhower product is now the second reported departure on Tuesday, following [four-star] freshman linebacker Cecil Cherry, who plans on transferring some time in the next several days after making it less than a week into fall practice.

Will be interesting to see what kind of year Texas has. I get some folks love the iron-fisted approach, but much like Harbaugh's weirdness, it needs to be backed up with wins. Unlike Harbaugh, however, Strong isn't an alumnus/former player of the school he's now coaching.
