For all you motorsports fans, Patrick Gallagher, of CJ Wilson Racing, will have on a distinguishable helmet when he races at Mid-Ohio this month in the 2013 SCCA Pro Mazda Playboy MX-5 Cup. He'll don a helmet that is a replica of the Ohio State football team's headgear, giving a whole new meaning to the term "silver bullet."
Wilson is currently a mechanical engineering student at Ohio State. An avid fan of his university, Gallagher found the perfect way to pay homage to the Buckeyes on the race track.
The helmet was created by Andy Blackmore and painted by Tyler Cenarrusa of Censport Graphics.
