The Illini wore pink to support Coaches vs. CancerNike has pink experience

The University announced this morning that the annual spring game, April 24th, will feature a dash of pink:

It will be a Scarlet, Gray and Pink day, with OSU coaches wearing pink caps and the football team sporting jerseys with pink accents that will be auctioned to benefit the Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research.

As in past years, the game will be part of a double-header with the men's lacrosse team taking on Air Force at 11AM before the football team takes the field at 1:30PM. If you're an out-of-towner, the Big Ten Network will televise both games live.

Tickets to the game are $5 in advance and can be picked up online at OhioStateBuckeyes.com as well as through the dreaded Ticketmaster. Tickets may also be purchased at the stadium the day of the game for $10 (cash only).

Last year, the Buckeyes set a national spring game attendance record when 95,722 fans came out on a gorgeous, sunny day and with the promise of Tressel appearing in a pink cap, I have to think we can push that number up near 100k.
