It's another Saturday without college football, but the silver lining is that we're another Saturday closer to our manifest destiny.

ICYMI: OSU's latest hype video redefined the hype video genre.

FORMER BUCKS SEE WISDOM IN URBAN'S WAYS. I'm beginning to suspect Ohio State might have struck gold by hiring this Urban Meyer fella.

From Matthew Florjancic of WKYC.com:

"A lot of this stuff feels like repetition because we've been through these meetings," [Michael] Bennett recalled [at the NFL Rookie Symposium]. "Coach Meyer taught us how to network, how to connect with people. I hear one of the big things they tell us is write down where you met the person on the back of their business card.

"Coach Meyer brought people in who told us that already, so we were already on the way to be prepared for the NFL and knowing what we need to do and what little hiccups we might have in our career and how to handle them."

Smith added, "For me, it's good because I come from a program where we take pride in that. We've got guys coming in, talking about life after football, and it's kind of a thing I'm hearing again, so it's very, very good that these guys are looking out for us and our best interests in life after football."

I'm going to have to steal that "writing down where you met somebody on the back of their business card" hustle. Props to whoever thought of that.

THOSE ARE SOME CRAZY ODDS. We know Ohio State could be double-digit favorites in every regular season game this season, and yesterday that became a step closer to happening.

Golden Nugget released some opening CFB odds, and Ohio State is rolling so dang hard right now:

OPPONENT OSU's SPREAD
at VIRGINIA TECH (-16)
PENN STATE (-19)
MICHIGAN STATE (-14)
at MICHIGAN (-16)

So yeah, as long as Ohio State keeps winning... they will be favored by double-digits in every regular season game, which is insane.

If I were forced to bet, I'd rank them in the surest bets the order of: 1) Penn State 2) at Virginia Tech 3) at Michigan 4) Michigan State. #JustMyTake

SLAM AND SHANNON TO THE SUMMER LEAGUE. Sam Thompson isn't done dunking in America just yet:

Shannon Scott will also get his chance, and with a prestigious organization too:

Slam has a chance to make an NBA roster. His game is much more suited for the NBA than CBB.

LOOK HOW FAR D'RUSS CAME. Here's something hilarious: 16-year-old D'Angelo Russell wigging out over a Blake Griffin practice dunk:

THOSE WMDs. Terrible pet owners turning to pet prozac... 20 first photos from the history of photography... Here’s how the Census Bureau fooled us on millennials... This man is a hero... Clickhole wants to know, how much of a Rutgers Man are you?
