Carlos is on the punt return team, right?

If I'm Meyer, I put Hyde in on the second series. Give Hall the start - he's earned it. But I want to Hyde back into game shape and rhythm as soon as possible.

If Carlos has earned his way back onto the team then he belongs on the field (right after Jordan Hall).

Hey guys - remember when we had Maurice Wells? He was awful. LOL.

After your these thoughts, I think they are right. I voted EE, but Hyde deserves to be right behind Hall.

Hyde...once Hall gets a few carries, he'll be in.  There's really no reason for him to miss anymore.  The message was sent and I believe El Guapo understands that he shouldn't have been in the middle of all that altercation.  Time to see more of this...

Some people think we’re the hunted.I don’t feel that way at all. We’re the hunter.Everybody wants an angry football team.Everybody wants a team on edge and a hungry team.If you’re a hunter, that usually equates to being hungry.

Stupid BigTen refs. That was a TD!

From everything we've heard from coach Meyer about how Hyde has impressed him with the way he's handled himself with the suspension, I think Hyde will see his fair share on Saturday.

I agree. I know position depth is much different, but Roby also "took care of his business" and was in on the third play of the game. I think Hall will have more carries, but I look for Hyde to get in there relatively early.
lol at people picking Bri'onte Dunn.

I'm thinking if the score of this game goes how it should, all of those guys could get carries. I don't know that they will, but they could.

My thoughts as well. It shouldn't be a tough game...get everyone some reps.

Smith the forgotten man? Anybody know if he is in the doghouse (again) or is it an extension of his 1 game suspension to start the season?
Really confuses me as to why he doesn't get carries. I'm not saying take Hall out. He's hot right now. But all we heard in the spring was that Smith was "setting the tone", "a physical runner", etc. etc.

Depends. I chose Ezekiel Elliott. But I think Hyde gets called in for any 3 and 1 or red zone situations. I feel like Ezekial Elliott though will get the nod if we run the score up 21+ points in the first quarter for game experience. Hyde will definitely get major playtime however.

Whichever is on kickoff or kickoff return team.

Hopefully all of them, but I wonder what it says about Dunn's future if he doesn't see the field against FAMU.

There was a thread here speculating that Dunn may redshirt this year. Probably not a bad idea with our depth at that position.

Hoping El Guapo gets in once the offense has established themselves (have a comfortable lead), so he can shake the rust off a bit.
Would hate to see him on the sideline until very late in the game.
I think he gets about 10 touches, with all the backs (Dunn included) getting reps in.

Hyde, but not as a RB

As much as I admire Hall and think he has done a great job, we need to get Hyde ready for next versus Wisconsin.  J. Hall will eventually be moved back to hybrid and Hyde will take over the starting RB position.  It's not that I think Hall has done a bad job, it's just that Hall at hybrid and Hyde at RB makes us a lot better football team.  I really want to see some diamond formation too.  I think our offense can be nasty in that set.

Hall will be #1 back rest of the year. Dontre Wilson will be the #1 hybrid guy.
