When Curtis Samuel scored untouched in double overtime to top the Wolverines 30-27, the Buckeyes kept their postseason dreams alive. And their coach's wallet got a little thicker.

Urban Meyer is set to receive a $50,000 bonus from the university for leading the Buckeyes to at least a share of the Big Ten East Division championship. Should Penn State lose to Michigan State on Saturday afternoon, the Buckeyes will win the division outright and earn a trip to the Big Ten Championship Game next weekend.

Should the Buckeyes make it to Indianapolis and win that game against the Big Ten West Division champ, Meyer will receive a $100,000 bonus and have another year added to the end of his contract. Meyer's current contract runs through the 2020 season.

Even if Ohio State does not make the Big Ten Championship Game, the No. 2 Buckeyes are in good shape to make the College Football Playoff following their win against Michigan. That won't be decided until next Sunday.

If the Buckeyes are ranked in the top-4 and thus participate in a College Football Playoff Semifinal, Meyer is set to receive another $250,000 bonus. If Meyer wins Big Ten Coach of the Year, he is entitled to a $50,000 bonus. Tack on another $75,000 if he takes home a national coach of the year award.
