Urban Meyer, per the game plan in East Lansing, went conservative with his bench during No. 2 Ohio State's one-point victory over Michigan State on Saturday afternoon.

After big performances against Maryland, freshman running back Demario McCall only earned a "participation" qualification in the game notes. Ben Victor, who scored his first Ohio State touchdown last week, didn't enter the game.

Per usual, defensive lineman Nick Bosa led the defensive freshman with three tackles. Offensive guard Michael Jordan led on offense as the starting left guard in a line that paved the way to 86 yards in East Lansing.
