Ohio State will be without senior wide receivers Dontre Wilson and Corey Smith in East Lansing against Michigan State.

Neither of them even made the trip, according to 97.1 The Fan analyst and former Ohio State All-American lineman Jim Lachey.

Wilson, who left last week's Maryland blowout after suffering an unspecified injury, tweeted Sunday that he was "just fine and back to help my team this week."

Smith, Zone-6's most veteran member, has been hampered by a broken right wrist all season and played sporadically while wearing a cast. Per Bill Rabinowitz of dispatch.com, Smith had pins removed from his wrist earlier this week.

By comparison, Michigan State will likely be without its top defensive playmaker, junior defensive tackle Malik McDowell.

No. 2 Ohio State at Michigan State kicks off at 12 p.m. ET on ESPN.
