Perhaps as an Ohio State fan you heard about Nate Ebner taking a hiatus from the New England Patriots to try his hand at winning an Olympic Gold medal down in Rio de Janeiro this summer.

While this may have surprised those unfamiliar with Ebner, it was as expected from Buckeye fans. Ebner, after all, is the same guy who walked on to Ohio State's football team despite not playing football in high school.

E:60, ESPN's excellent investigative journalism show, will profile Ebner as part of Tuesday night's episode, which debuts at 7 p.m. ET. It will look at Ebner's unheralded importance to the New England Patriots, the tragic murder of his father, and his journey through Rio de Janeiro.

And yes, it appears there will be a hearty dose of Jim Tressel.
