Eli Apple is doing everything possible to solidify himself as a first round NFL Draft pick.
First the Ohio State redshirt sophomore cornerback raced to a 4.44- and 4.42-second unofficial 40-yard dash. It was later determined he clocked in at 4.40 seconds.

Shortly thereafter Apple grabbed a pass out of the air with one hand during defensive back drills, as you can see in the video above. He *only* had four interceptions in his two playing seasons at Ohio State but broke up 18 passes.
Apple's official 40 time is the fifth-fastest so far among defensive backs in this year's NFL Combine. Tyvis Powell is part of the final group of players set to work out Monday afternoon at Lucas Oil Stadium.
