Buckeyes in the NFL, Week 11: More Injuries & the Carolina Buckeyes Continue to Dominate

Ted Ginn remains the GOAT

At this point in the season almost every NFL player is dealing with some sort of ailment. Though only two have missed or will miss a significant chunk of the season, injuries are ravaging former Buckeyes in the league.

Two linemen went down during Sunday's action: Corey Linsley and Nick Mangold. Linsley hurt his ankle after a Vikings player rolled on top of his ankle and he did not return to the game. Mangold, who already missed a game due to a neck injury, may be in jeopardy of missing another after sustaining a "severe laceration" to his snapping hand against the Texans.

In addition to those two, Philly Brown missed Carolina's blowout win over Washington because of a shoulder injury he suffered in Thursday's practice. Michael Bennett sat out for a second-straight week due to a hamstring injury and Andrew Norwell had the same issue. Finally, a lingering foot injury forced Carlos Hyde to miss another week.

Coleman Picks off Another Pass

Teammate Josh Norman will get all the Pro Bowl votes – and, potentially, the NFL's Defensive Player of the Year award. Kurt Coleman has just as many interceptions, though.

It wasn't as spectacular as last week's, but picking off Kirk Cousins must feel like a small measure of revenge for Coleman after Saturday's debacle against Michigan State:

Play of the Week

Dolphins fans will always consider Ted Ginn a first round bust. 49ers and Cardinals fans certainly appreciated his special teams efforts but they expected him to contribute more on offense. Considering the amount of touchdowns he's scored in Carolina compared to everywhere else, it seems the Panthers are the best fit for him.

Ginn caught his fourth touchdown of the year, Sunday, and is one shy of his career high for receiving TDs in a season. It was originally ruled incomplete but replay overturned it after a Panthers challenge:
