Ohio State advanced to 9-0 last night in a 28-14 grind-it-out victory over Minnesota. It didn't look perfect, but it did enough to maintain its season-long No. 1 ranking (though by the slimmest of margins) in the latest Coaches Poll.

Clemson, Baylor, and Alabama round-out the potential playoff field according to the coaches (and their SIDs). Oklahoma State and Notre Dame are the next two teams out.

Iowa checks-in at No. 8. Michigan State fell to No. 14 with Michigan trailing one spot behind. Wisconsin (No. 22) and Northwestern (No. 24) roundup the Big Ten appearances.

Tom Herman's 9-0 Houston is up to No. 16.
