UPDATE (4:36 p.m.): Darron Lee has returned to action, albeit while wearing a wrap over his right leg. CRISIS ADVERTED.


UPDATE (4:28 p.m.): 97.1 The Fan's Marty Bannister reports Darron Lee is expected to return to the game. We'll let you know if that happens.


Well, this is never what you want to see.

Ohio State linebacker/Manimal Darron Lee was carted off the field between first and second quarter action vs. Western Michigan.

ABC's Olivia Harlan says the trainers told her Lee was "leg whipped," and suffered an apparent right leg injury.

LB Chris Worley replaced Lee in action. Ohio State leads 7-0.

Eleven Warriors will have more as this develops.
