Wow I never knew Jeff's father was a *ichigan basketball captain. I bet the week of "The Game" is one of the best times of the year for the young man.

Mark my words..I don't need acceptance. I'm catching interceptions on you innocent pedestrians.

How many Buckeyes would say that the week of The Game was not one of the best times of the year?

They are obviously not Buckeyes but I would bet Mike Hart and Chad Henne would say the week of The Game was not the best times of the year!

Having a father born in West Virginia but moved to Ohio at age 2 and having a mother that was born and raised as a Buckeye, I always thought that we were all sort of rednecks. See. I was born in Ohio but moved to Florida 33 years ago...I always thought that Florida was full of rednecks and Ohio was full of normal people. Now that I'm older, I've noticed that we Ohioans have a lot of redneck enthusiasms and Florida people, for the most part, are kinda boring. When it comes to Florida people and college football though, they take on a whole new persona. Most of them are Gator fans (although we are getting more hometown fans where I am from in the Orlando area where UCF is), but they all seem to change to fans of whichever team from the SEC seems the strongest once they feel their Gators have lost a shot at a national title. They change their whole wardrobe. I went to Alabama @ Florida one season and the guy that I went with took care of my entire bill at the "Purple Porpoise" and even bought me a green Gator hat, Gator golf balls, and the whole Florida get up besides a jersey which I declined. After Alabama won the game, I saw my buddy at our local sports pub and he was wearing LSU everything. To be a great fan, you have to be loyal...SEC fans know nothing about loyalty.

Anyway, believe it or not...Florida is not in the south so it can be compared to Ohio in many ways. Besides the Large Mouth Bass Fishing though, people from Ohio are much more "country" than Florida people are. Most people that I know own no hunting rifles fishing poles, tents, etc. We Ohioans are more southern than Floridians in many, many ways.

Depends very much on what part of the state you are in.  Where in FLA are you, exactly?  :)

"When November 8th comes, it's gonna be a different show."

Braxton Miller is ready.
I can't even begin to explain how excited I am for this season to start.

Those were some great interviews!

Very impressed with how Braxton has matured on and off the field since his freshman year.  I liked his exhibition of self confidence and determination.  I can't wait to see what he does with Dontre and Devin the year.

I'm calling it now...if he stays healthy, Braxton Miller is winning the Heisman this year.  You heard it here first.

Is it just me or does it seem like Braxton is an entirely different person than we have previously seen? He seems more confident and exudes swag.

Hope he has lost all of his "Brad Nessler Edition: Hurtin Backaroo" underoos.

Hope he can stay healthy all year.

Was it Millen saying Hurtin Buckaroo?  I got pretty lit, and was getting pissed at losing to Clemson, so what I took from ABC's coverage is a tad sketchy.

I strive every day to exude swag, but fail. Sigh...maybe Braxton can let me borrow some.

Thanks for all the great coverage today! I look forward to spending some more time on 11W tomorrow.

I hope you don't mean Penn State's D line that play! Bwahaha.

Xbrax360 going H.A.M.  I will never forget watching that play live stunned and overwhelmed with joy going H.A.M in my living room.

Just Win.

I live about a 4 hour drive from Happy Valley so was actually able to make it to that game in person.  I just remember the Penn St. fans around us in awed silence after he score that touchdown.

I'm old. You wrote 2 sentences in paragraph #2 and wrote "H.A.M." twice. Would anyone update my old, feeble mind on what "H.A.M" means, stands for, or what it is slang for (as you never can tell these days). Cut me some slack though, please. I never used a computer until 8 years ago (for the first time) because I was a poker junkie and in the chat box it took me months to figure out that " :) " was a smiley face. I had to ask and have someone tell me to turn my screen 90 degrees.

The play was awesome though...I just wonder if Miller noticed the D-Lineman going at Hyde and decided to keep or if it was a keeper the whole time. Regardless, it was a lucky play and even though it ended up working well for a TD, "Let's never try that again".

Thanks, Urb!

H.A.M. = Hard as a Motherfucker. Honestly though, I'm young and I had to look that up to find out.

Loved hearing Braxton talk about how much winning the Heisman would mean to him.

I like the maturity and growth BM is displaying in front of the media.

I was completely unaware that Anthony Schlegal is the assistant strength coach. Awsome!

Braxton has come so far since I first saw him his junior year in high school. Maturity wise, and on the field. When he was just out on the field dicking around at FNL throwing the ball around his footwork seemed sharper, his motion seemed more compact and the ball just popped off his hand and he was just having fun. Should be quite the site to see this season. Go Bucks!

Great job Buckeyes in your interviews. Thank you for making Buckeye Nation proud. Now just win the title and we'll just get on to 2015.
