With the country's top-ranked 2017 recruiting class, it ought not to be a surprise to see a number of Buckeyes in Rivals latest Top 100 list, but it's still seems a shock to see exactly how strong the Ohio State brand is across the country right now.

Six of Urban Meyer's 13 commitments – hailing from five different states – in the 2017 class find themselves in today's release.

  • No. 14 • Josh Myers • OL • Miamisburg, Ohio • Miamisburg
  • No. 16 • Shaun Wade • DB • Jacksonville, Florida • Trinity Christian Academy
  • No. 73 • Isaiah Pryor • DB • Lawrenceville, Georgia • IMG Academy
  • No. 76 • Jake Moretti • OL • Arvada, Colorado • Pomona
  • No. 81 • Brendon White • ATH • Powell, Ohio • Olentangy Liberty
  • No. 82 • JK Dobbins • RB • La Grange, Texas • La Grange

Two Buckeye pledges – White and Moretti– who were among the biggest movers up the rankings. White jumped from No. 159 to No. 81 and Moretti jumped 40 spots to No. 76.

On White, From Rivals' analyst Josh Helmholdt:

The Rivals Camp Series in Columbus featured an extremely deep group of wide receivers, and White nearly came away with MVP honors. That is especially impressive considering the Ohio State commit may end up playing on the defensive side of the football when he arrives in Columbus. Measuring in at 6-foot-2 and 205 pounds, White combines size with tremendous ball skills and plenty of speed.

On Moretti, from Rivals' Adam Gorney:

Moretti doesn't like to block, he likes to pulverize his opponents into the ground. He likes to use his strength and size to overpower those who ever considered getting into the Pomona backfield to lay a finger on his quarterback. That type of raw toughness is what the Buckeyes' coaches had to love about Moretti.

Alabama also has six commitments in the updated list, which ties them with the Buckeyes for the most of any program. No other Big Ten program has more than two players.
