The Hurry Up is your nightcap of Ohio State recruiting news, catching you up on the day’s events with an ear on the ground for what’s next.

JAMYEST WILLIAMS, ISAIAH PRYOR VISITING THIS WEEKEND

Ohio State tried–and failed–to get Lawrenceville, Georgia 2017 four-star athlete Jamyest Williams on campus with his Archer High School teammate, and Buckeye commitment, Isaiah Pryor when Pryor visited in October. That effort may have fallen short, but the dynamic duo will be in town this weekend for the Michigan State game.

Williams' confirmed the visit with Eleven Warriors.

"Yes, I'm coming this weekend," Williams said. "I'm coming up Dylan Singleton (who is taking an official visit) and Isaiah."

Williams is the country's 63rd-ranked prospect in the 2017 class.

For what it's worth, Singleton is a 2016 safety committed to Duke, but at this point there's not much to pay attention to according to Ohio State sources.

BOCKHORST THINKING ABOUT VISITS

This past Saturday night, Matt Bockhorst and Cincinnati St. Xavier had their season ended by crosstown rival Colerain, getting beaten soundly by the Lancers 42-14. Hanging up the cleats at the end of the year is never easy but for Bockhorst, the four-star guard with 11 scholarship offers, it's always about what's next. There's no point in dwelling on the negatives.

"We lost a tough one to Colerain but its gotta end at some point," Bockhorst told Eleven Warriors. "We had a good season, though. Now I've got to put together the season's tape and see who else is interested after watching it."

The two schools that have been most consistently listed by Bockhorst–Ohio State and Notre Dame–have not yet offered the country's seventh-ranked 2017 guard. Buckeyes' assistant coach Kerry Coombs, who recruits Cincinnati, did try to check in on Bockhorst during Ohio State's open week and there's a chance the 6-foot-5, 290-pounder will be in Columbus this weekend.

"I wasn't able to talk to (Coombs) when he was was here," Bockhorst said of the most recent trip to St. Xavier by the Buckeyes. "He came right as we were going into pre-game mass and I was already in the chapel by the time he was there. I'm thinking about going to Ohio State (this weekend)."

If he doesn't make the trip north, it's likely because he's decided to head somewhere else, either Penn State for their game against Michigan, or to Clemson to watch the top-ranked Tigers take on Wake Forest. Both schools have offered.

CALEB KELLY STILL THINKING ABOUT A VISIT TO OHIO STATE

Ohio State keeps on searching for an additional linebacker in the 2016 class and although they'll get a second visit in three weeks from Michigan four-star Daelin Hayes this weekend, there's still some hope that California five-star Caleb Kelly makes any trip to Columbus.

From Scout.com:

Kelly told Greg Biggins he's not sure about his final official visits. One thing that seems certain is that he won't be at Ohio State this weekend for their final home game of the year. If he makes an official, it'll likely be in January, which certainly doesn't help the Buckeyes' chances of landing the 6-foot-3, 215-pounder.

"I still haven't decded on my final visit yet but I definitely plan to take it," Kelly said. "I'm looking at Florida State, LSU, TCU and Ohio State.

The country's 23rd-ranked overall prospect will make a signing day decision, so there's still some time to try and make an impression for the Buckeyes.

MYLES DORN UPDATE

One of the more recent offers in the 2016 class, North Carolina defensive back Myles Dorn confirmed to 11W that he will make an official visit to Ohio State this weekend. The 6-foot-2, 195-pounder made an official visit to North Carolina this past weekend and watched as the Tar Heels crushed Miami, 59-21. Larry Fedora's squad is now 9-1 and looks to be a program on the rise but Dorn said there isn't any pressure to stay home.

"No," Dorn said when asked if there's any push to keep him close by family or friends. "I've always got people who want the best for me, no matter what."

He said he'll make it to Columbus this weekend, but he doesn't know exactly when he'll arrive yet.

"My dad is coming up with me, but I'm not sure who else," he said. "I don't know exactly about the travel."

With uncertainty around long-standing defensive back offers like Damar Hamlin and Jordan Fuller, Dorn's situation bears watching.
