D'Angelo Russell, Star of Ohio State's Recruiting Class, Enrolls

Looks like the cryptic photo D'Angelo Russell posted to Instagram last night had meaning, after all.

Russell did not begin Ohio State's summer term with his classmates a week ago because his high school transcript had not passed the NCAA Clearinghouse. At the time, Bob Baptist of the Columbus Dispatch reported the NCAA was waiting on Russell's score from a standardized test he took earlier in the month.

Today, Russell is in school, per a tweet from Ohio State basketball.

Russell, a five-star shooting guard from Louisville who played his high school basketball for Florida's Montverde Academy, is the crown jewel of Thad Matta's 2014 class. The 6-foot-5 playmaker should challenge for immediate playing time with the Buckeyes.

Get the drama over and start playing the games. This has been such a long off season for bball and football.

That's worth 3 - 5 wins right there, and a lot of other wins that went from torturous to enjoyable. Thank goodness.

Going to be strange to adjust seeing someone other than Sullinger in 0. Nonetheless beyond excited to watch D.Russ this winter, kid is a baller.

Can't wait to see what this group can do next year. This could be a special year. And as Inspectah Deck once said, it's time to put our hard hats on; we're going to work.

KBD seems to always go under the radar when I honestly think the kid will average double digits for us this year. The kid just gets buckets

Yeah I know :(

And I know this is from last years tourney, but I think after this run, that's when Q knew he could go pro. I'm surprised he stayed.

Good for D. Russell.

Don't forget about my Picktown Boy Jae'Sean Tate.  He won't stay on the bench for long once he gets to play.  You can mark it down.
