Ohio State men's lacrosse has had a bittersweet season, pulling off an enormous win in the NCAA Tournament and losing in the quarterfinals to a team they had beaten. At least the team's leaders will receive proper recognition.

On Thursday, the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association named senior midfielder Jesse King and junior defenseman Robby Haus to the Third-Team All-American Team. In addition, sophomore goalie Tom Carey was named an Honorable Mention All-American.

It'll be tough to replace a midfielder like Jesse King, whose 77 points (42 goals, 35 assists) gave him the highest-scoring season for a Buckeye lax player since 1979. In an article about the honors on Ohio State athletics' official team website, head coach Nick Myers said King was "as dynamic a player as we have ever coached and he will be missed".

No matter what happens in the tournament final, Ohio State will have beaten this season's national champion. Haus and Carey are set to return next year to better this year's mark.
