Not that it will matter... they won't be able to move the ball on the Silver Bullets... or stop the Buckeyes offense...

Depends on what you mean by "best." I expect Nebraska to move the ball well and score a lot of points, but also turn the ball over in bunches. Northwestern and Indiana will dominate lesser competition but struggle against defenses with a pulse. I expect Michigan to be nothing special statistically, but probably the one most likely to cause problems for a good defense, just because of their athletes.

As long as Martinez stops giving away points to the other team, Nebraska should be the 2nd best.

"YOLO" = I'm about to do something extremely ignorant/stupid & I need an excuse to do it.

I'm guessing Vico's upset about the omission of Minnesota and their new Maryland-I.
I voted Nebraska as of the options they have the best talent to go with the best schemes.

I'm going to go way out on a limb and say Penn State.  I don't know why, just a gut reaction.

I voted "other" because I think OSU's 2nd string will be the second best offense in the B1G, but now I'm thinking a real answer would be Northwestern.

The NW game at NW after a night game at home against Wisky feels like a trap.

Nebraska was rated #1 in the B1G in most offensive categories last year. They lose Burkhead, which isn't a loss to sneeze at, but otherwise I think they wind up at #2 this year (behind only OSU). Ameer Abdullah is the real deal, over 1100 yards rushing last year despite sharing the rock with Burkhead and Martinez at the QB position.

I agree with your points here.  Last year, Ohio State had the number one scoring offense in the B1G, while Nebraska had the edge in yards per game.  It definitely wouldn't surprise me if this remained the case in 2013.  That is not because I think Nebraska's offense will be "better" than Ohio State's.  Rather, given Ohio State's high likelihood of improved defense, they will likely consistently win the field position battle, have shorter offensive drives and won't require as many yards to lead the league in scoring.
Also, I did a some quick research and OSU scored more points on special teams and defense in 12 games than Nebraska did in 14 games.  (if my count is correct, 2.5 pts/game from OSU's defense vs. 1.8 pts/game for Nebraska's defense.)  Remember pick sixes and safeties contribute to scoring offense but not total offensive yards.  I think OSU will score a number of points without accruing any offensive stats.  That's why I think Nebraska will likely lead in total yardage.

I think part of it is that Nebraska is trying to take away some of Sparty's thunder by dropping turd plays every now and then and looking unimpressive in wins and somewhat awful in losses.

I voted 'braska...wanted to go with the Fightin' Fitzgeralds, but I'm afraid Mr. Versatility - Kain Coulter - is too injury-prone.

I voted AACC, just because Flounder now can run his preferred offense and we(B1G) hasn't seen what he can do with it.

Gardner is finally going to get a chance to show what he can do. It's unfortunate that Hoke realized the terrible evaluation he made on Gardner when he came in and he's now going to get a chance to start after a full offseason.

I think Nebraska will have too much O for the rest of the B1G, with the exception of us of course!  I think we'll be playing them in the B1G Championship game.  Can't wait for the season to start!!
Go Bucks!!
