Unbelieveable OSU is currently sitting at 24%.  Did these people who voted for OSU misread the question and think it read who would win the division in FOOTBALL next year?  Good God, I'm a huge OSU homer, but there is no conceivable way we win the conference (not the stupid conference tournament).  I would like to read an objective analysis from someone who voted OSU on how we would end up above both IU and scUM.

Full disclaimer: I did not vote for Ohio State. That said, I suspect the objective analysis of those who did would probably begin by saying we are 1-0 at this point in our head-head battles with *ichigan and IU this year.

Agreed. Still got road games @Indiana, @Wisconsin, @Michigan, as well as Indiana, Michigan State and Minnesota at home. I see 3-3 in those six games at best, probably with losses in all the road games.
Looking at other teams' remaining schedules, the Big Ten is Michigan's to lose.

tTUN wins it...sorry...the winner of IU and them will be the deciding factor IMO of course.
Well here's an analysis...since I just now read this above.  OSU has no bigs playing consistently well in the paint...that's problem #1 (I don't think anyone including myself realized how big #0 was for the last two years for OSU BBall).  #2 is no consistent scorer besides Thomas...plz don't tell me that Thompson or L. Smith are...bc they're not.  #3 in the problems for OSU is no consistent bench players...or hell even a great starting 5 with the loss of Sully last year (and even last year the bench could be a problem).
Now for tTUN...they have great guard play and their bigs are getting better.  That spells possible doom for OSU...IMO.
IU...if Zeller stays hot along with their point guard (can't remember his name) then that's why I'm choosing them over OSU.  I'd say it's tTUN, IU, OSU and then Illini.  Sorry if this offends....but it's what Clark Kellogg even said yesterday on 97.1.  I tend to agree with a homer/hall of fame player...no offense Bukze;-)

No offense at all.  You actually supported me.  I don't think OSU has any shot at winning the conference.  I  agree with your top 2 teams (although IU could easily win the conference).  I would say the next 2 teams are OSU and MSU, with either team finishing 3rd - I would have to say MSU will end up third, OSU 4th.

today will be the first time I will actively be rooting for M. I am very conflicted by this but I know it's the right thing to do for today only.
HEAR ME OUT: I live in Indianapolis and I have come to realize that IU fans are the most biased blinded blowhard fans i have ever encountered in my life. they feel like basketball belongs to them and should be number 1 every week every year. i bring up UCLA  with all their banners and they laugh saying those don't count. Most of the IU fans now are born after the 87 national championship. Myself I know they have a good team in the open court but if you grind them like Wisconsin and Butler did they will fall. I truly believe that M will win today, because they are better. My rooting for M will only happen today and today only unless they play IU again in the B10 tourney.
I await the scorn that will follow from my fellow buckeye fans. I hope you guys can understand. also please forgive me.

To be fair, *ichigan will definitely NOT grind in a half court battle with IU tonight despite you pointing out that that is the recipe for success for beating IU. I think these two teams are going to get up and down the floor in a very enjoyable and exciting game to watch. Probably similar to the IU UK game in the NCAA tournament last year

I really just meant no offense in a ironic sort of sense, I guess;-)  I went on and on I thought too after reading my blog (however I could have went on more...;-)  I love OSU (BBall or Football) whether they're up at #1 or #2...or if they're staring down a 3rd at best or 4th place finish in the B1G.  This year in B1G BBall, that would be ok...with the lose of Sully and all the other variables.

Not sure why everyone is so high on IU.  They have played 3 meaningless road games so far.  I think they lose 3 more games minimum on the road this month and next

Plot twist: Penn State wins all B1G tourney games by double digits.

The offseason begins when your season ends. Even then there are no days off.

Ohio State has  a real chance to win the conference this year so I think the numbers are fine. Any of those teams can win the conference and there will probably be a conference regular season champion and a different team will win the tournament.

This^^^is my biggest reason why we end up third or possibly 4th in the conference is a rugged remaining schedule.  The B1G is no joke this year what so ever in BBall (football...well that's another story in itself).  I was thinking to myself on the way home from the store that this is the first time in a while that tTUN was ranked this high as well as the Hoosiers.  #1 vs #3...who would of thought about it just a few years ago that this would happen...???

Screw scUM, they'll choke during March Madness regardless if they win the BIG or not.
