Have a question of possibly a more knowledgeable warrior.

A called no goal was overturned to allow CBH to tie.  But in order for the so called incidental tap in to be allowed, a BH player advanced the puck in the crease right up to the goal line by sliding skates first ( he had no stick) and pushing it forward to the goal line. How is this viewed as legal?  You cant score a goal by kicking it in, which is estentially what he was trying..
