B1G

SLOW WEEK IN THE B1G
Jim Harbaugh and That Team were the only team in the B1G to gain a commitment this week. Ahmir Mitchell from New Jersey is the 7th ranked athlete in the 2016 recruiting class according to 247sports.com. The addition of Mitchell widens That Team's total points lead in the B1G.

MOVING ON UP
For the second consecutive week the rankings remain the same. The two teams that improved their composite average were That Team (.003) and Nebraska (.001).

FREE FALLING
Four teams had their composite average drop by .001 this week. It's not game-changing, but Penn State, Michigan State, Minnesota and Rutgers had their comp. average move in a slightly negative direction.

OHIO STATE ON TOP
Either on the field or on the recruiting trail, the Buckeyes remain the best in the B1G.

No. 1
No. 1 on the field and in recruiting.

TOTAL POINTS REVIEW

ON THE RISE
Nobody made a move in the rankings, but Nebraska and Ohio State made marginal gains with their total points. The biggest jump was made by That Team and that story is covered below.

BIGGEST LOSERS
Like the stock market half of the teams in the B1G lost points this week. Teams in the red were: Minnesota (13), Penn State (11), Michigan State (8), Wisconsin (5), Maryland (3) Northwestern (2) and Rutgers (1).

WILL THE DARK DAYS EVER END?
That Team opened up its total points lead on the rest of the conference. Ahmir Mitchell's commitment on Thursday gave That Team a bump of 946 points. Even though Mitchell posted a tweet that his final decision was between Ohio State and TTUN I'll side with the Lord of Whispers and believe the Buckeyes never gave him an offer he could commit to.
