For those of us questioning the chance of a true freshman starting on the offensive line this season. You need not look any farther than the spring game and keep your eyes firmly glued to number 73. Once a heavily recruited offensive tackle from that state up north, Michael Jordan has all the intangibles to become a Buckeye great.

The first thing that will jump out at you is that in pads he looks like a redshirt junior about to make the jump to the NFL. He's big, he's agile, and he's down right mean. There's a reason that our starting middle linebacker and tackling leader from last year, Raekwon Mcmillan, was quoted as saying "he's really good".

There's a Mike Weber run where the right side of the line blocks down and Jordan from left guard pulls right. Raekwon comes up into the hole thinking he has the tackle all but wrapped up when in reality he's a split second away from a collision with a freight train. You'll be completely enamored by this play alone to watch Kwon be thrown back at impact 3 to 4 yards on skates before he regains his footing. This was just one of many plays that were productive due to Jordan getting his block and doing it with authority.

There's competition in Burrell and Knox, but as far as the spring game goes Jordan was above and beyond more dominate in run blocking and pass protection. Malcolm Pridgeon may in reality be the only thing left in Jordan's way to joining the slobs this season.

It doesn't take long to realize what everyone is talking about with this true freshman. We'll find out soon enough if he's carried this over to fall camp. My money's on there will be no crying Jordan come Sept. 3rd.
