We have all probably heard about how there could potentially be a 3-way tie atop the Big Ten East - This would happen if Ohio State beats MSU and then loses against TTUN the following week (and all of those teams win the rest of their games, of course).

Now obviously we, as Ohio State fans, don't want that to happen. But Big Ten officials probably don't want that to happen either.

This is because, in the event of that 3-way tie taking place, the B1G East representative would be determined by who is ranked highest in the most recent Playoff Poll. The problem with that is the poll is not released until Tuesday night. That's only 4 days until the Championship would be played.
