There are 100 days that separate us from Ohio State's march to Blacksburg. To help pass the time until the Buckeyes put the Sandman to sleep I will countdown Ohio State's top 100 players according to the rubric* listed at the bottom of this article.

Sensibaugh

Sensibaugh set the Ohio State record for single season interceptions (9) and career interceptions (22). He was drafted by the Chiefs in 1971.

NFL DRAFT
Round 8 to the Kansas City Chiefs with the 191st pick of the 1971 draft.

After reading about Mike Sensibaugh I found him to be the most well-rounded Ohio State player I had never heard of.

Not only does he hold the Ohio State career record with 22 interceptions, but he was the punter and best punt returner on the team.

Mike Sensibaugh was a two-time all-Big Ten selection and a 1970 All-American. The three-year starter was a member of Ohio State's 1968 National Championship football team. In the 1969 Rose Bowl, Sensibaugh set a record with 319 punting yards. He also set the OSU record for single season (9) and career interceptions (22).

Owns the individual record for season interception yards with 125 (nine returns) in 1969, and for career interception yards with 248 (22 returns).
