In reflection upon this past glorious season, I remember back to the heights that Smooth Jazz brought this fanbase to. I never thought I would see a backup QB do what he did....And then along comes JT. Replacing a Heisman contender with his own Heisman contending season! But even that could not compare with the 3-0 career of 12 guage "State of Ohio" Cardale Jones.
Does any of this take the shine off of what KG did?
Secondly, I thought of Iowa's nemesis, AIRBHG (Angry Iowa Running Back Hating God). We could have bemoaned a similar demon for OSU quarterbacks. But instead of being diminished when a Buckeye signal caller went down, each replacement performed at a higher level than his predecessor! It was like Ohio State's quarterbacks are some sort of hydra that grows three heads whenever you cut off one! Just amazing.
