After watching the game again and witnessing C Jones's ridiculous arm there was one thing that stood out to me. I actually think J.T. could have made a lot of those throws, but the way CJ made the throws gave our guys a big advantage. The best example was his throw to Jalin. He threw a lazer to Marshall which gave the defender no time to make any read or play on it. I think J.T. could make that throw but the ball would have more air under it and not arrive as quickly. This could really be big against Bama where their DBs can quickly get back into position and make plays if the ball takes to long getting there. Not so much the 40+ yard throws but those 20,25,30 yard throws are really hard to defend when your QB can launch a fast ball in there, as opposed to airing it which gives the defenders a chance.
