I know we are going to a 3 game non-conference and 9 game conference schedule starting in 2016. We also have some home and away games with Oklahoma and TCU coming up. 

But for snits and jiggles, if you were the schedule maker what would your strategy be each year to balance the strength of schedule crowd and still going undefeated before entering the B1G?

I know it hard to predict who is going to be strong and who is going to be weak 4 or 5 years out; after all in 2011 Vir Tech went 11-3 while Ole Miss went 2-10, so putting them on your schedule for 2014 would have had the opposite effect of what you might have expected. But there are many programs, even in the Power 5 conferences, who are perennially strong (USC, Florida, Bama, etc.) or weak (Kansas, Colorado, Wake Forest, etc.)
