It looks like the playoff is going to shake out something like this:
1. SEC Champ.
2. PAC 12 Champ.
3. Florida State.
4. TCU/Baylor/Ohio State.
Obviously, anything can happen, but this seems like a fair take at the moment. Assuming that's correct, will the playoff committee punish TCU/Baylor for playing one less game. If Ohio State wins out, we'll have played 13 games versus TCU/Baylor's 12 games. It seems like an extra game versus a division champion might give the Buckeyes the extra push they need to jump the Big 12 Champ at the end of the season. TCU/Baylor fans would go nuts, but it'd be a reasonable thing to do from my scarlet-colored perspective.
Thoughts?
