I was reviewing past recruiting classes and I focused on the 2010-2012 classes. I wanted to see what happened to all the guys that would have been juniors, seniors, or redshirt seniors this year. I noticed the following:

2010: 19 total commits, 9 players leave football program (transfer, dismissal, injury forced retirement)

2011: 24 total commits, 6 players leave program

2012: 25 commits, 9 players leave program

That comes to a 35% leave rate for those three years. I know we had a lot of players get fluke injuries, but 35% still seems insanely high. What do you guys think is the primary reason for this development?
