He is telling people close to him he will likely be a Buckeye as long as things go according to plan this weekend! OSU coaches will be at his state championship game on Friday and then his official is this weekend. Big pick up for the Buckeyes!

I bet he is jealous he missed last weekend's festivities. This next generation D-line is a wrecking crew.
I wonder if Farris will move to OT.
Wow, if he commits, our D Line is going to be unbelievable. Just imagining them wreaking havoc on the opposing team's O Line makes me giddy with excitement.
Good news. Thanks for the constant updates Alex.
What do you think the chances are that he commits during his visit?

I know all of these DEs we are recruiting are more comfortable on the line, but we do have 3 stud DEs coming next year. We can only have 2 DEs on the field at the same time, so who would be moved to LB, if we would go that route?
Class of 2016. Go Bucks!
Question: How many more spots are available. I'm thinking 4 or 5. Would be happy with a couple of OL's and LB's.

yessss
I will take a great pashing rushing defensive end over a great linebacker any day of the week. The most common quality among BCS championship teams has been an absolutely dominant defensive line with a lot of depth.
Meyer is going to come close to hand picking however many spots we have next year. I'm still in awe that we hired one of the two coaches with a legitimately better resume than Tressel.
I'm not sure about committing during the visit. Could happen silently, but publicly I think he wants to announce at the UA game. Actually, these days UA Game asks players to announce there so they get more hype/higher ratings so this could just be him doing them a favor. I think this goes to the good guys.
As for how many spots available, I would say 5-6 more. Obviously with Graham leaving, Fellows/McVey on possible hardship, and Jaamal Berry's pending situation, things are fluid. I would say 23 is your magic number though.
My guess for the last five are Dodson, Diamond, Spence, Caleb/Jones/Diggs (only 1), and linebacker (either Perkins, Williams, or Jamal Marcus).
I am speaking to Camren Williams when he leaves campus today. I will have an update on the site hopefully shortly after noon when I call him.
Thanks for your efforts, Alex. This class is shaping up to be dominant.

Is Coach Meyer definitely going to be at the Bishop McDevitt game in Hershey this weekend? I live in Hershey and might have to try to get tickets to catch a glimpse!
Not sure...Bucknuts reporting now Fickell/Vrabel will be there instead of Urban who can only visit off-campus once and will save that for January
good stuff Alex, thanks
Alex- You said "Urban can only visit off-campus once"? What exactly constitues a visit? He's done in home visits to Dunn and Pittman. Is he limited in actually visiting the HS campus? Thanks for any info.
If you ain't a Silver Bullet, you're a target
If Spence commits...our D-Line will be a "Meat Grinder!!"

True that, Bucknut1070!
Been seeing some speculation that Joshua Perry may project better as/ end up a defensive end as well. What is your take on this, Alex?
He just committed here is the link
